What does this brokerage calculator include?

Indian trades attract statutory levies—STT, stamp duty (on buys), NSE/BSE transaction charges, SEBI turnover fees, and 18% GST on the broker + exchange + SEBI slice. Brokerage itself depends on your plan; this tool uses common discount-broker presets (₹20 per order or 0.03% capped at ₹20).

Figures are estimates for planning and SEO education, not tax or contract notes. Always read your contract note from Zerodha, Angel One, Dhan, or whichever broker you use.

How to use this tool

Pick delivery, intraday, futures, or options. For options, enter premium as price and total quantity (lot size × lots).

Choose buy, sell, or round trip to see one or both legs. The table splits each charge type by side.

Read the margin note for how much capital may be blocked—exact F&O SPAN margin still comes from your broker terminal.
